Glass House

Situated in Pirque, Chile, the Glass House by Max Núñez harbors a petite enclosed forest. Ingeniously crafted with a medley of mechanical systems, it conjures an artificial realm meticulously tailored to mimic a slice of tropical florest transplanted to a different latitude. Its physical dimensions are unassuming, spanning 11.4 by 11.4 meters, yet its elevation atop a pedestal lends the impression of a glass cube suspended in air—an enchanting visual deception. Enhanced by the light emanating from our Tubo 50, this greenhouse emanates an enigmatic, mist-laden ambiance, casting its spell over the surrounding landscape, mirrored gracefully in the tranquil waters of the neighboring pool.
