Casa Triângulo was founded in 1988, in São Paulo. This is one of the most important and respected contemporary art galleries in Brazil. In 2016 Casa Triângulo moved to a new location in Jardins, São Paulo. The building was designed by Metro Architects and the lighting design project was made by Design da Luz Estúdio. This new building has a strong urban presence. A big white box with translucent and opaque panes features, two different pavements and two exhibition areas. The main room extends to the outside of the gallery towards the street creating an outdoors area for exhibitions. Casa Triângulo was second place at the Darc Awards 2016 in the “Best Exterior Lighting Scheme – Low Budget” category.
