Eduardo Souto de Moura
The collaboration between architect Eduardo Souto de Moura and O/M gave rise to the iconic Tubo luminaire, now reimagined in its natural evolution: the Tubo Pro.
Since its inception, O/M has worked with architects and designers to develop luminaires that combine aesthetics and technical performance.
Tubo Pro retains the essence of the original design, enhancing it with even greater lighting precision, reflecting O/M’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.
Lightstream is an optic micro-lens system that creates smooth and homogenous light while emulating a continuous line of light. Developed with Bartenbach GmbH, the unique structure of Lightstream optics creates an exeptional visual comfort, and prevents low-angle-straylight, reducing glare even across short distances.
Eliminating straylight
To reduce reflection from the exit surfaces of each lens, small structures were inserted between them, stopping the straylight light. This significantly reduces glare and it provides greater visual comfort.
Cut-off
Tubo Pro’s direct lighting ensures a cut-off angle greater than 38º, suitable for workspaces and other areas requiring high-performance lighting.

Tubular diffuser in slightly frosted PMMA (Acrylic), 70 mm in diameter. End caps in transparent polycarbonate.
Optics
Elliptical optical microlenses (Lightstream) combined with a secondary reflector integrated into an extruded aluminum profile. Developed in collaboration with Bartenbach GmbH.

DALI drivers included.
Accessories
Mounting accessories vary according to application. Suspended version includes a transparent polycarbonate power base and 2 m steel suspension cables (1.2 mm) with fine height adjustment system. Surface version includes a pair of transparent polycarbonate retaining rings. Accessories are ordered separately.
Light source
O/M LED modules with excellent color consistency (2-step MacAdam) and long lifespan (>50,000 h; L80/B10). LED CRI>90 3000K, 3500K, 4000K.
Tubo Pro is available in White (.01).
