We're excited to see our stand published in the latest issue of Grand Stand, one of Frame's most successful series.
Light is usually added to a space, not the opposite. In O/M’s latest Light+Building show stand, however, light shaped the space to be built, with structural volumes constructed around the controlled luminous flux created with the company’s new luminaires. This inverse approach reveals the importance of light as a building material, especially when given absolute control through sophisticated optics and reflectors. Light and darkness separate outside from inside the structure, precisely defined outlines of light and shadow play in its geometric spaces; intersections of volumes serve as entrances and passages, guiding the visitors experience through the space, while the stand’s intriguing outside captures the passerby curiosity.
